Re: Recurring Blob Pattern

Well I have done the same test as you, but with Slic3r and KISSlicer printer prints perfect, but with S3D it blobs Update: Ok, after some exhaustive testing and twiddling, I've come to the conclusion it's actually my printer at issue and not the software, itself. I think I can chop this up to a timi...

Re: Recurring Blob Pattern

I have seen this problem before and for me the issue was simply that the computer could not keep up with the gcode message passing (i.e., CPU or bandwidth limitations) for curved surfaces. So what happens is the printer pauses every once in a while to wait for more commands. This causes a blob at t...

Re: Recurring Blob Pattern

I agree with that. I have had problems with the blobs, since v1.2 trial and he was nice enough to send me 1.3 trial which does the same for me on my printer. I have tried everything suggested, running the stock settings, other than filament size, since i use 3mm not 1.75mm. Increased/decreased retra...

Re: Recurring Blob Pattern

I have had that problem with my Lulzbot AO-101 forever. I tried everything suggested, no retractions, different retraction settings, speed settings, z speed, etc and could never get non-blob prints. I even took the Gcode into Repetier and printed there with the same results. If I sliced in Slic3r or...

Just found an issue

Ok, just found something interesting. I created a model of a sword from Minecraft. I sliced it in KISSlicer and Simplify 3d. Printed and got some interested results. The top is KISSlicer and the bottom one is Simplify 3d. Simplify 3d converted some small squares to circles and e top ones to circles ...

Re: I like this package but need some help...

I have at issue too, if printing at low layer heights where other slicers work fine. There seems to be a gap between each line instead of making it run up next to it. Like it is calculating the next move slightly off leaving a gap between bigger then the plastic can fill.

Re: where to purchase abs & pla plastic

I use https://rainbot3d.com/. They have a good selection and I haven't had any problems with their filaments. They also have the color changing ones based on heat, so case for phone is nice can see where your hands where

Re: The last

Well the new version fixed the crashing issue I was having and video seems a lot better than it was on OSX. The problem in this thread is still there though, I tried lowering the temp after the 1st layer too and it still has the same banding. Here is the GCode, well I'll guess I will have to email i...
