Re: Simplify3D Version 2.0 Now Available!

Thanks again Dale! The Leapfrog Creatr has only openings on the front and the top; I simply cover those up during heating of the bed with a garbage bag. Definitely speeds up heating, but never exceeds 91 C. ABS is indeed the biggest drama. PLA works ... kind-off ... if it sticks to the bed ;-) I'll ...

Re: Simplify3D Version 2.0 Now Available!

Hi Dale - thanks for the feedback,

you're right, my bed never goes beyond 91C ... which can be changed in the profile ...
I'm curious if the lack of temperature could be the cause of my printing issues though.

Re: Simplify3D Version 2.0 Now Available!

Thanks for an awesome update, specially the support for new printers like the LeapFrog Creatr ...! The corkscrew printing method sounds cool, can't wait to try it! Only problem I'm running into, with a Leafrog Creatr, is that when using the profile it never starts to print. Possibly because the bed ...

Re: Feature request ... (print preview, overall settings)

LOL - thanks for the reply Aha - I'm not sure if I understand your answer. So what Repetier does, duringprinting: it shows the exact moves of the printer. To be more precise: it plots a line on your screen as soon as it sends the G-code for a line to the printer. This line will be colored "hot&...

Re: Anyone willing to share a profile for the Leapfrog Creat

I print either straight on the glass or on Kapton - either way the bed is set to 65C. For the extruder I use the default PLA settings - I think 195C for the 1st layer, and 190 for the following layers. Multiplier etc are also the default values (0.35 ext. diameter, width 0.96, multiplier 0.90. It so...

Re: Anyone willing to share a profile for the Leapfrog Creat

As I understand from Clayton (from Simplify3D): Simplify3D is working on a dedicated profile for the Leapfrog Creatr - they even have a Creatr to work with. For now I simply use the "default" FFF profile, and even though I have a dual extruder, I simply use one extruder only ... I'm relati...

Re: Feature request ... (print preview, overall settings)

Another thing that would be a nice add-on is to have the ability to heat individual extruders.
Right now I have to manual enter T1 or T0 to heat the extruder I'd like to use ...

Re: Feature request ... (print preview, overall settings)

Thanks Michael,

Found the printarea settings - I was more looking for machine specific "fine tuned" settings ... :)

Re: The Ultimate Compatibility Thread

I'm a new user, but I have seen only seen 5 of them and 1 default ... - Default - MakerGear M2 - Prusa Mendel - Makerbot Replicator 2 - Makerbot Replicator 2x - Rostock Max I'm using a LeapFrog Creatr and by lack of anything better I picked the default one - which appears to print pretty OK. Would b...
