Dense Support Layer Count

I'm getting inconsistent results with the following: Combine Support Every <3> layers Dense Support Layers <6> Upper Vertical Separation Layers <1> The above settings work out fine. I get (2) dense support layers and (1) separation layer. However, when I try: Combine Support Every <3> layers Dense S...

Re: Solidworks macro to export to Simplify3D

The very first line of code seems to cause a problem for me. I'm running Solidworks 2010 if that matters.

Re: Save Filament Properties with Material AutoConfigure

Thanks for the tip. I guess I should revise my request to ask for a user interface that doesn't require me to edit configuration files in a text editor.....

Save Filament Properties with Material AutoConfigure

I would like to see the Filament Properties (under the "other" tab) saved with each Material Autoconfigure. These parameters change with each filament type, and it would be convenient to have them stored here instead of having to re-configure them each time switch between filaments on my printer. Don

Filament Properties

Why aren't filament properties (currently on the "other") tab saved with each material type? The diameter, price, and density are all parameters that have to change whenever I change materials, but the software ties these to the main printer settings. Also, the tooltip for materials says that the ex...

Re: Layers Peeling Apart in ABS

I added an enclosure to my printer as well as a 250 watt heater used for amphibious pets. ABS works flawlessly if I keep it at 50C. For polycarbonate, I have two heaters and get around 80C in the chamber. My extruder is starting to melt though - I need to get replacements printed in PC if I'm going ...

Re: Random start point isn't

I've found many bugs with this software (so much for paying for a developers time). After trying to post several issues here and only hearing from other users about how to work around the problems, I've given up trying to get any help here. I'm not interested in workarounds, I'm interested in seeing...

Re: Duplicate selected object

Mainly because I feel like it is a bug that should be reported. I have no trouble using Repetier-Server with Repetier, Kisslicer, or Cura. My setup does not have a local SD or display either, therefore the use of Repetier-Server.... The machine is located in my basement, and I tend to do my design w...
