Re: Feature request. Realtime positioning viewport updates

Repetier host also changed the object in real time and had gotten used to it. Then when I started using simplify that really stood out as an inconvenience. Yes a real time interface would be nice.

Re: A real Brim

Exactly. Seems like adding more processes solve a lot of issues and that is great... BUT, We sell printers and I want the process to be as easy as possible for our customers. Slic3r has this option, so I know it can be done. I hope to see all the changes on here be incorporated soon. They definitely...

Same first layer heigth for all layer heights

normally what I do for all my profiles in Slic3r is set the first layer height the same. This allows the first layer to print no mater what the layer height is set to. My default has been .35 and has worked very well. I have found with Simplify that the first layer changes to whatever you are doing ...

[ADDED] Brim stays attached to part

I would like to request that we have a real brim function that hugs the object. I have objects where a skirt will not (hug) the object. See attached picture. It does fine in the front and back, but nothing on the sides.

Re: Feature Request: G-Code Source Window

This has also been an issue for me. I have had to keep my documents folder open so I can review the gcode. This is only done if I want to see an issue and not needed all the time. The only downfall to having open gcode in the program is that it can bog the program down. I see that in Repeiter all th...

Re: Plastic Selection and Tempature

Yes, there are WAY to many different types of plastic out there to have just a few listed. I know how to make the changes, But I am thinking someone will not know what they are doing and select these and jam their machine. I can see a place where there are defaults for the Novice user, but also the ...

Re: Skirt Speed

I feel that the ENTIRE first layer needs to be one speed. Everything, Skirt, Infill, perimeter, loops, ect... I have prints (firstlayer) that come out way better using Slic3r when the first layer is all at one speed. This is my vote. Anyone else. Other than that your software is awesome. Love it. Ke...

Re: Extruder Offsets

I ended up fixing the issue by not using the firmware. For some reason the commands were being ignored. So what I have done is the following I added this to my gcode.start file. M218 T1 X0.0 Y31.28 and added this to the (tools) (firmware) ( General) (Tool Change) T$ F5000 This seems to work just fine.

Re: Skirt Speed

It looks like it is running at "infill" speeds and not at perimeter speeds. I will have to slow it down even more for the skirt.. having the skirt run on perimeter speed would be better. Nice and slow and even. But I see what is going on now.
