Wrong solid layer degree

Hello. I noticed something that is not quite right. The first top solid layer is at the same 45 degree angle as the last infill. This I suppose shouldn't be like this as the solid layer have a large gap along the infill. Isn't it supposed that solid layers should follow the same pattern as the infil...

Solid infill area

You should give the option to the user to extend the solid infill area when it comes to parts that are in the middle of the print. Sometimes when you have a 10% or less infill, the solid parts fail just because there is nothing there to support it. In this cases the only solution is to increase the ...

Re: Wrong G-Code

Actually I do not have the factory file, but you can open the Gcode in preview mode and check it out.
While I was previewing the code in line mode I noticed another bug, but that's something I will report in a different post.

Wrong G-Code

First of all I want to say that I was very happy to find out about all these new features that came along with version 3. And I am really glad that I see a lot of good effort from the Simplify3D team. Keep the good work. Now to the bug. I created a G-code (attached here) and I edited to check about ...

Re: 2.1 Manual support placement not working

It's a good thing to look around a little bit before posting duplicates.

and it is even on page 1, so easily found.

Re: Manual Supports not working in 2.1

I've got a better solution for the moment. Until the support finds out an fix it... (within the next 6 months)

Left click on the Simplify3D application and choose Get Info.
There is a check box saying "Open in Low Resolution". Check this and you are done.

Re: Manual Supports not working in 2.1

Thanks for the application. I played a little bit with it, and I confirmed that the problem is the retina resolution. This application what it does is cancel the retina resolution, so what ever resolution you select, (even the default at the time the application opens) and press ok, then the retina ...

Re: Manual Supports not working in 2.1

So let's try to keep this post on top until someone from the support team correct this HUGE bug. If I am not mistaken 2.0 was not retina compatible, 2.1 is, so the problem was created due to this. Paying a fair amount of money for a software is not only about getting something better from the open s...

Re: Manual Supports not working in 2.1

Problem confirmed. I have the exact same issue.

I am suspecting it is the retina display giving the problem. Can someone confirm that?
The ones not having this issue, do you have a retina display mac?

Re: Feature Request: Profile Adjustments for Filament Contro

Thank you for the tips. I actually noticed that while I was playing around with the XML file. So I have the exact same parameters for all the autoConfigure settings with the appropriate values. I don't even bother to export the profile, I am just editing the XML file and add what ever I want there. ...
