Tool change script running on startup

I'm trying to work up a usable dual extrusion setup, using multiple profiles. When I annotated my tool change script with: ; tool change: [old_tool] -> [new_tool] I get the following sequence: startup script tool change: 0 -> 1 "M106 S0" tool change: 0 -> 0 from there it runs the rest of the gcode w...

Re: Request: z-lift only over top layer

You can if you're making a box. Not for a more complex object with many "top" layers at different layers.

Request: z-lift only over top layer

I normally run with z-lift set at zero, but this does on occasion cause visible drag marks. It would be nice to have an option to have z-lift occur on retraction only when the next travel move is going to occur over any topmost surface.

Re: 2.1.1 crashing on open (Mac)

Ugh, found the problem. Something about my saved settings was giving it fits. Looked everywhere for where it could be coming from, finally found it in the user defaults system. "defaults delete com.simplify3d.Creator", and it's all better now.

Re: 2.1.1 crashing on open (Mac)

Okay, strange: I tried running it as the Guest User, it launches fine. I removed the plist file from Preferences and the directory under Application Support, and it still isn't happy, so some data cached in my account is confusing it, but I don't know where it is.

Re: 2.1.1 crashing on open (Mac)

Every time. 2011 model, I think. Uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled the old one, moved off all the preference files I could find, etc. I just tried it now with the Console.app open, and when it starts up, there is a line: Simplify3D: invalid drawable which would make sense given the OpenGL issue ...

Re: Auto-configure temperature settings are not saved!

Oh, sorry, you were asking about temperature setpoints. Try just stuffing the entire temperatureController portion under autoConfigureMaterial.

Re: Auto-configure temperature settings are not saved!

You can hand insert any settings into an autoConfigureMaterial section. As an example, I have: <autoConfigureMaterial name="PLA"> <globalExtruderTemperature>225</globalExtruderTemperature> <globalBedTemperature>60</globalBedTemperature> <globalExtrusionMultiplier>0.9</globalExtrusionMultiplier> <fan...
