Variable Settings - Not along Z

Hello folks, Straight to the point... I'm printing a fairly large model that has screw towers. I want to print the model at 5% infill but this leaves the skinny screw towers with no infill and therefore, very week. How can i maintain the 5% for the whole model but have say 50% for the screw towers C...

Re: Gaps in model after slicing

Thanks for the response. I used netfabb to check and do an automatic repair.

Also checked within simplify's interface using the manifold check as well as flipped and orphaned triangles checked all within simplify3D. All was reported as OK

The model is relatively too heavy to upload

Gaps in model after slicing

Hello,

I am trying to slice this model that has reportedly passed all manifold checks. However, after slicing, there are gaps or missing layers at various points in the model. Any solution to this? I'll be much appreciated

V4 License

Hello,
Prior to the upgrade to v5, the V4 License allows install in 2 computers.

Now that I have upgraded to v5, have I lost this now? Or can I have one of each install on two different laptops (I.e one laptop has only V4, and the main laptop has v5)

Slowdown First few layers

Can we have a feature to slow down the first few layers (definable) of a print without having to create separate processes. Just like how we can slow down the first layer... There should be an option to slow down say the first 2, 4, or 10 layers as defined by the model. Because of the high speed pri...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts for move and rotate

Exactly. It really depends on the muscle memory you've developed. It is easier and faster for me to move and rotate by holding down a key than it is by toggling off and on everytime. I was printing a figurine and had to carefully place all the support models needed for such an intricate print. It wa...

Re: Show/Hide Models

+1

I think all the user experience from V4 has to be reinstated. I'm struggling with the removal of move and rotate using alt and ctrl keys.

Its bad enough that the UI was changed. but at least lets have the UEx to be at the very minimum, on par with v4

Keyboard shortcuts for move and rotate

Hello Team, For v5, Can we reinstate the keyboard shortcuts to move a model (in the X and Y) which was done using the ctrl key and rotate (z-axis) which was done using the Alt key. This makes workflows so much faster and efficient. The amount of times when I'm fine tuning the position of multiple mo...
