Re: Version 5 Announcement

With MSLA coming out in large format at super low prices - I can't see S3D lasting anyway. They would need to support these printers, and do it better than the software already available.

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

I am transitioning to SLA anyway now. S3D is good software and have been using it for many years. I have put up with only being allowed to install on two computers but it has been an issue for me. I have put up with it because they give me updates. Once version 4 has hit maturity and no longer suppo...

Re: Dual Extrusion Wizard

I might have sussed it. First thing I did was to export the stl files individually from within S3D. That made the alignment (origin) a little better after throwing the dual print wizard switch. Not perfect - but at least both objects remained on the build plate now. Then I ungrouped the objects, ali...

Dual Extrusion Wizard

So I have designed 2 .stl files that when opened up in S3D one at a time align perfectly, I open the dual printing wizard and the objects break apart and re-align as separate items.

Is this correct, and how do I stop this from happening?

TIA

Re: CTC Riverside SLA printer

So like me then - no one else has managed to get it to work. Hopefully this thread will save other people following bad advice and wasting time.

Re: CTC Riverside SLA printer

So I am guessing that no one can get this to work properly with a CTC SLA printer then?

Re: CTC Riverside SLA printer

So I followed the instructions and it kind of works. I say kind of because it doesn't print anything. I see the potential though. It lowers the platform, it fires the laser, it traces out the model & raises the platform. All looks good but it fails to produce anything. What's happening is the pr...

Re: CTC Riverside SLA printer

Also why they are at it, tree and branch support would be a god send. Now CTC are making a reasonable priced machine and people are now buying them support could well increase sales of S3D.

Re: CTC Riverside SLA printer

They are using it to engrave. I would love for s3D to write a machine profile for the CTC Riverside. I would even pay
