Re: Calibrating Process/Profile for good prints

Yes, you obviously have to either make your model with a slight difference to be able to make the parts fit. But, for example on my printer before I calibrated my print profile in makerware, inner dimensions where off by about 300 microns and outer dimensions where off by about 200 microns. That muc...

Re: Calibrating Process/Profile for good prints

Are you saying that you don't think this is working correctly just based on how the prints look ? Or have you actually looked through the gcode files to verify that the extrusion multipliers are wrong. I just tested this on my own a few times and I don't see anything wrong. I'm looking at the actua...

Re: Calibrating Process/Profile for good prints

I will report a bug to the support if they don't answer here during next week. The behaviour is as follows. If I print tree boxes in the same print with each of it's own process settings, exactly the same except Extrusion multiplier. They come out the same. If I print on single box at a time with di...

Re: Calibrating Process/Profile for good prints

Thank's for your suggestion. I'm in the middle of printing loads of objects with different settings for extrution multiplier. What I don't fully get my head around is that I don't get very different results when printing the same objects with a multiplier between 0.90 and 1.10, my guess is that that...

Re: Can't set Filament Fan speed Replicator2

Managed to get it working by just setting fanspeed of 100% on layer2 and no other setting. Still curious over why setting 0% on first layer and setting 100% on second layer wont produce the same result. and also curious about why the standard profile for replicator sets BOTH 0% and 100% for layer1. ...

Calibrating Process/Profile for good prints

Hi, I need to calibrate my profiles to get more out of my prints. I'm new to S3D and also fairly inexperienced in the 3D printing field, so I need someone to point me in the right direction. What I want to achieve - Prints that accurately comes out the with the same size as the stl file. ie, a 20mm ...

Can't set Filament Fan speed Replicator2

Hi! I'm new to S3D and trying to calibrate it for my printer. Except some problems getting the printing profile calibrated (probably due to inexperience) I'm having problems with the fan settings for the Filament Fan. Problem: I can't use any other setting than ON during whole print or of during who...
