Festus the model sliced perfectly for me. Did not know there were so many mesh errors in it

model not printing in as one part
I have tried printing this model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43488) in S3d and cant get it to slice properly, every time I try slicing it it is spit in half. I found this thread(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43488) while searching, sadly when i tell s3d to merge meshes it fills in the cente...
