V3.0.2 Won't Save Preferences in Windows 10 x64

I've installed S3D V3.0.2 on Windows 10 x64. S3D will not save any preferences. I'm using RAMPS and Marlin on a MakerFarm machine. Each time I open S3D the default 'Firmware configuration' and 'Options' load. I've saved an '.frm' profile, but have to manually loaded each time. In 'Machine Control' t...

Need to recover 'Machine Control Panel' MACROS

I had a computer crash and subsequent clean install. I'm just getting S3D installed and setup. I open the Machine Control Panel and realize my 3 macros are gone. I've forgotten exactly what they were but they were very handy. Were those stored anywhere that I can recover them? I have a full backup o...

"Starting Script" not starting/not getting read

All of a sudden with V3.0.1 my "Starting Script" is not running. I've been using this code for a year and it's always run just fine prior to a print. Now, the printer heats and goes straight to a print and does not do the "auto-leveling." Here's my code, it's really simple: G1 Z1...

Re: Odd Windows 10 issue

I'll give you my experience. I updated to Windows 10 on a laptop that had Windows 7 Pro on it. I've done nothing special or forced any updates. I've just ran Windows Update and let it do its thing. I've printed two very long prints (over 8 hours each) without any issues at all. S3D is performing per...

How to modify program folder paths?

I can't believe I can't figure this out and I can't find it mentioned here in the forum but how do you specify a custom path for the FFF profiles. I have about 50 from V2.2.2 and just installed V3. I can't seem to point V3 to my FFF profile folder. Somehow I told V2.2.2 where it was as they are all ...

Print starts before temperatures are reached.

I have an odd occurrence. My prints will start instantly and not wait for the temperature controller to stabilize. I have that checked for both the extruder and bed. I've closed and rebooted to see if it was a stray piece of code but not the case. I have to manually heat and make sure that all temps...

Re: How to "remove" unused default profiles

Joel, Thanks for that. I had done that initially and they all came back so I went looking for them in directories to remove them. I tried your suggestion again and it failed. I closed and reopened S3D and did it twice more and it seems to have held. If they come back again I'll write back and see if...

Gray out Processes that aren't assigned to any parts

This is minor and is just a time saver. Say you have 3 or 4 processes divided up between a bunch of parts. And say you go into one or two and remove all parts from those couple of processes. Then later when you are looking at your process list, you may not remember if you disabled all the parts in t...

How to "remove" unused default profiles

I'd like to remove all of the default profiles from my FFF Settings 'Select Profile' dropdown to make it easier to select the ones I've created. I'm constantly scrolling and searching for my own. I can't seem to find the other ones so I can remove them. I searched my machine for ' *.fff ' but only c...

[ADDED] Have 'FFF Settings' panel remember it's last state

I like the new release and the additions. With that came wider tabs and or a new tab. That means when you open the FFF Setting panel, the 'Advanced' panel is obscured and you have to resize the whole panel to see it and use it. That's fine. But, when I close it and reopen it the panel has snapped ba...
