I've upgraded my makerbot rep2 to the lastest 7.7 sailfish firmware. now when I cancel a print, the printer attempts to send the bed too low resulting in nasty chatter as it bumps the bottom of the screw (no end-stop there). if the print finishes normally, the bed lowers to the correct height withou...

mac os x yosemite. i looked for where the app was storing the data without success. i can create new profiles, so permissions don't seem like a problem.
as of 2.2.2, I am unable to delete profiles that persist through a program restart. when S3D restarts, all deleted profiles re-appear. this is incredibly frustrating with a large # of profiles.
chamfers hardly solve the problem. if you have the freedom to make those changes to the part (aren't constrained by fit or geometry) then it sucks a tiny bit less. yes, all slicers have problems and s3d is one of the better ones. but this one is fairly egregious and it's been in there quite a while....
this is truly a huge bug in S3D. that and it's terribly handling of empty or near-empty infill. makerware has such a crap interface, but it makes much better prints.
I don't know what's going on, but models that slice/print fine with 2.1.2 begin to get jammed up and gummy on the Z axis only a few layers in using all the same settings, etc in 2.2.0 ... I'm not sure if it's a stepping problem or what. All settings look identical. Perhaps the new MB 5th gen support...
I have printed the same 110mm x 110mm square part using S3D and MakerWare on my MB Rep2. The MW printed part was undersized by 0.15mm (good-ish) and the S3D part was oversized by 6.7mm (way bad). What can I tune to reign in this discrepancy?
