Re: Default PLA settings?

Seems reasonable, I sort of assumed it was something like that, but it wasn't obvious. It has been ages since I printed in PLA so I honestly couldn't remember what I would of used at the time. It predated me using Simplify anyway.

Re: Default PLA settings?

Bump... No one know what causes the default for PLA extruder multiplier to be 0.9?

Thanks

Can two different layer heights print at the same time?

Simple example, two cubes, two processes, one at 0.2, one at 0.3. Prepare print with both processes, applying one process per cube and then print.

Does this work?

It didn't complain when I tried, but the layer display seemed to keep the two models in step, so I didn't bother printing it...

New feature: actual speed vs expected

I'm trying to tune my printer for speed at the moment and one of the hardest things to measure is accelleration and actual speed. I think it could be quite simple to take the display which tracks what has been printed in real time and adjust the colours to show the actual speed. For bonus points I'd...

Default PLA settings?

For the first time since getting Simplify I've had to print with PLA. I selected the Auto-Configure for PLA and it defaults the extrusion multiplier to 0.90. I hadn't noticed until after printing, and, as with most prints from Simplify it came out rather well. So what's the reasoning behind reducing...

Re: Bug, print > 2 objects

Click Edit Process Settings > Select Models (in the bottom left of the fff settings window) and make sure all the models you want associated with the process are selected. Ok, quick test. This does solve the problem. Going into the process, for some reason it has excluded the last added model. My g...

Re: Bugs (part 3)

mine looks just like tenk's. running osx. i have never seen anything show up that looks like yours...unless the name of your file was 1a25a. Yeah, I'd expect osx and linux to look similar as they handle file system stuff in a similar way (notice how I didn't go into detail as I'm only vaguely aware...

Re: Delete confirmation on Processes list

It's all a bit fiddly as a work flow though isn't it? And the exporting and importing is awkward. I mean what happens if I accidentally hit delete while going to hit the "edit process settings" button with the intention of exporting?? HabloIngles, it appears you are right, If you click add...

[ADDED] Delete confirmation on Processes list

As the title suggests. Delete is close to Add and Edit, it's far too easy to accidentally hit it and when you do there appears to be no way of recovering the lost item.

Bug, print > 2 objects

If I import two objects to the print surface it's fine, if I import more, only the first two print. I've tried various combinations of closing the app, opening the app with items on the build surface, without, adding one item, adding multiple items etc, the result is always the same. Here's a screen...
