Re: Show/Hide Models

+1 on this. really disappointing the feature was turned off for V5. Its really useful if you have multiple bodies and you are making multiple build plate print files for the models. Please add it back in...

Re: Continuous Support Structure Under Holes

Well I doubt the software is ever going to ignore areas that actually need support, but I guess what's why they allow you to customize it. You can manually remove the areas you don't want if you decide you want to deviate from the norm Quite literally the complete opposite of what you are thinking,...

Re: Preview Mode Fixes and Enhancement Request

In fact, I can see from some of your other posts that you're using a raise3D printer. They use the Marlin firmware, which already supports toolhead offsets in the firmware. So either they setup their own firmware incorrectly, or they did something silly like disabled this functionality all together...

Re: Continous Support Structure Under Holes

It looks like you're using far too large of a support pillar size for that model. If you have tiny holes like that, and you want the supports to follow them, then lower the pillar resolution to 1mm or something smaller This was just a quick example and wasn't a real part or print. Even by lowering ...

Continuous Support Structure Under Holes

By default, when you apply support structure it will not put any structure if there is nothing to support over it. Normally this is good, but if you are printing a larger part with a series of holes or cutouts it will make the support structure very discontinuous. In these cases its more efficient a...

Re: Advanced FFF Profile Editing - Nozzle Sizes

I've seen others do what you are talking about, by making the material one of the variables that contain the different nozzle sizes. if all else fails i can revert back to this... the hope was to avoid this since it's not as eloquent. the nested quality under the autoconfig material definitely works...

Re: Printing with the Raise3d printer

I am very happy that the Raise printers were added to the list! Some code should be added so that the printer always starts at the same place, preferably in the front left corner "before" the nozzle and bed heat up. Currently the bed heats then the nozzle heats and then it moves into posi...

Re: Toggle dual nozzle temps with tool change script?

you need something like this in the tool change script: G1 X0 Y40 F4000 ; move to wait for temperatures {IF NEWTOOL=0}M104 S165 T1; set T1, inactive extruder to 165 C {IF NEWTOOL=0}M109 S205 T0; Set T0, new active extruder to T0 Temperature and wait for it to reach temperature before proceeding. {IF...

Re: Preview Mode Fixes and Enhancement Request

We actually want the same things... You are "right-on" that the preview should show you what is in the g-code file. Currently the profile view makes the assumption that all extrusion occurs from the primary tool location. This is not correct. YES, the primary tool head will follow that pat...
