Re: Inadequate release notes....

I also do not appreciate when software releases have the generic "fixed bugs" line, but in the meantime you can find a few by looking at the Bug Reports section. Usually when s3d releases a new version, you'll see which user-reported bugs they fixed since they'll comment and lock the ones theyve fix...

Re: Infill Percentage Label not Updating

Looks like this was in 4.0.0 which was automatically launched for some reason when I launched via spotlight search. Tried in 4.1.0 on the mac that was exhibiting the problem and doesnt seem to be a bug anymore

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

The general demeanor on this thread is horrid and shows what an embarrassment the 3D printing community can be at times. "Even if you let people walk all over you, they'll still complain you're not flat enough" comes to mind here. Simplify3D gives these updates out for free. I got the software all ...

Re: 3D Systems Cube 3rd Generation printer driver

FWIW I believe the encryption on cubepro files is the same as the one on cube2 and cube3 3dsystems printers. Use simplify3d as you would for a cubepro and then rename the file instead of .cubepro name it to the extension your 3dsystems printer uses and it will work. Tried with success on a cube2

Re: Can post processing code do this?

Change the order in the start up script if you want this. the bed takes a lot longer to heat up than the head due to the large surface area. Generally people want to wait fro the bed to heat up before starting the head since the head heats up fairly quickly, and leaving a nozzle at temp for a long t...

Re: Rasberry PI

You won't be able to run Simplify3D on the raspberry pi unless the devs compile it for arm architecture, which is quite do-able, but really why would you want to? The bread and butter of simplify3d is its slicing, which be severely bottlenecked by the limited resources of the raspberry pi. If you wa...

Re: DaVinci 1.0A Rebooting When Sending Print with 3.1.0

which operating system are you running? I have a friend who has a da vinci and he has found 100% success on his Mac by mimicking the EOL characters used by Windows. In short try this if you're encountering this with Mac: in the scripts tab, in post processing under the prepend script, put in: {REPLA...
