Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

It looks like s3d is holding onto their silence-first policy, so what happens if they decide to one day go belly up without a word. Eventually our DRM's will kick in and try to call home and when it can't reach the servers we will most likely become locked out of accessing the software. Same goes fo...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Because I bought Simplify3D license in the first days of january 2019, so I expect to receive at least one free major update during my 1 year free upgrade warranty . When I purchased my seat it was after they announced the release of V5 in to 2019. I was on the fence about buying software when ther...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

wow. . . 39 days, 12 hours left in their 2019 time frame and STILL nothing form the S3D camp. I wonder how much closer to the release date we need to get before they announce anything? Counting down the days seems pretty juvenile and petty... Why are you so invested in holding them to releasing at ...

Re: Inadequate release notes....

I also do not appreciate when software releases have the generic "fixed bugs" line, but in the meantime you can find a few by looking at the Bug Reports section. Usually when s3d releases a new version, you'll see which user-reported bugs they fixed since they'll comment and lock the ones ...

Re: Infill Percentage Label not Updating

Looks like this was in 4.0.0 which was automatically launched for some reason when I launched via spotlight search. Tried in 4.1.0 on the mac that was exhibiting the problem and doesnt seem to be a bug anymore

Infill Percentage Label not Updating

Hi,

When changing the infill percentage in the Infill tab, the slider above the tabs is updating on edit, but the label next to the slider is not updating until you hit ok and open Edit Process Settings is reopened

Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

The general demeanor on this thread is horrid and shows what an embarrassment the 3D printing community can be at times. "Even if you let people walk all over you, they'll still complain you're not flat enough" comes to mind here. Simplify3D gives these updates out for free. I got the sof...

Re: 3D Systems Cube 3rd Generation printer driver

FWIW I believe the encryption on cubepro files is the same as the one on cube2 and cube3 3dsystems printers. Use simplify3d as you would for a cubepro and then rename the file instead of .cubepro name it to the extension your 3dsystems printer uses and it will work. Tried with success on a cube2

Re: Can post processing code do this?

Change the order in the start up script if you want this. the bed takes a lot longer to heat up than the head due to the large surface area. Generally people want to wait fro the bed to heat up before starting the head since the head heats up fairly quickly, and leaving a nozzle at temp for a long t...
