It looks like s3d is holding onto their silence-first policy, so what happens if they decide to one day go belly up without a word. Eventually our DRM's will kick in and try to call home and when it can't reach the servers we will most likely become locked out of accessing the software. Same goes fo...
Because I bought Simplify3D license in the first days of january 2019, so I expect to receive at least one free major update during my 1 year free upgrade warranty . When I purchased my seat it was after they announced the release of V5 in to 2019. I was on the fence about buying software when ther...
wow. . . 39 days, 12 hours left in their 2019 time frame and STILL nothing form the S3D camp. I wonder how much closer to the release date we need to get before they announce anything? The general demeanor on this thread is horrid and shows what an embarrassment the 3D printing community can be at times. "Even if you let people walk all over you, they'll still complain you're not flat enough" comes to mind here. Simplify3D gives these updates out for free. I got the sof...
FWIW I believe the encryption on cubepro files is the same as the one on cube2 and cube3 3dsystems printers. Use simplify3d as you would for a cubepro and then rename the file instead of .cubepro name it to the extension your 3dsystems printer uses and it will work. Tried with success on a cube2
Change the order in the start up script if you want this. the bed takes a lot longer to heat up than the head due to the large surface area. Generally people want to wait fro the bed to heat up before starting the head since the head heats up fairly quickly, and leaving a nozzle at temp for a long t...
