Think I found the reason. Will upload video. The perimeters are switching from inside-out, to outside-in.... not sure why. I have selected Inside-out as my options.

Thicker islands than rest of part?
Anyone have this happening? I have included some pictures. Using MatterControl, this doesn't happen. Only with Simplify3d so far. The islands in the print are significantly thicker for some reason. It is not reflected in the tool path data. Extruder steps have been tuned, etc. Any suggestions? ABS m...

You can select the app, go to properties, and select that it runs as 8.1 style even on windows 10. I am running windows 10 and having no issues..... yet.

That has what I have been doing. No big issues using that route so far. Been working great so far. Only issues I have had have been traced back to a faulty STL file that just needed repaired.

Fans working fine with my Rostock Max V2 when sent to SD card. I can't get my Rostock to print from USB though.

Rostock Max V2 won't start print
Rostock max won't start print from USB. Everything else seems to work perfectly with the jog controls. Start from USB just sends the extruder head down to start position and it sits there. I can save to SD card and print from there just fine though. Getting some beautiful prints I might add with jus...

I get sparse infill on top as well. When using makerware on my Flashforge I get rock solid top infill at 2 layers. I have to use 4 with Simplify3D to get same effect.

Very "Sparse" infill?
Is it just me, or does the infill appear to be very weak and sparse? It seems that my prints are doing very well with Simplify 3d (sometimes a little bumpy but tunable) but watching the infill it makes you think.... "why even bother?" It looks like a weak sausage link rope stretched across...
