Re: Localised infil

C-line, Ive tried that suggestion and while it kind of works for some parts its far from ideal. The main problem being accurate alignment of the multiple parts. I see that there is a discussion about aligning part origins with autodesk but its fairly lengthy process. S3d could benefit from allowing...

Did you try what I suggested the last time you posted the same question? Perhaps you should try a new approach to obtaining the help of your fellow users...

Re: Localised infil

By "localised infill" I assume you mean non-uniform infill, such as more dense in one area than another? If so, model your part in multiple sections according to where the infill is to be differentiated. Then import and align the separate STL files in S3D and set up processes for each with...

Would be useful and probably not terribly difficult to implement.

Re: Sequential printing within a process

+1 Please provide this feature -- it is extremely awkward and time consuming to work around the current limitations, especially as printers get larger and capable of printing more objects at a time. (I have some print batches that include more than 50 small objects which require sequential printing!...

Re: Preview Mode Missing Critical Information

...The current layer height [mm] in preview would be extremely useful when setting multiple processes... Agreed. This is especially frustrating in dual extrusion prints with ooze shield, where the layer number displayed in the preview is acutally double the actual layer number. I believe this shoul...

How about a using a toolhead graphic that shows a number corresponding to the active tool, and a color corresponding to temperature?
The build platform could also change color using the same temperature scale.

Re: Tip of the Day 4- Layer tab, a technical analysis

Thanks OP! So if I understand correctly: 1. First Layer Height <100% does not reduce extrusion amount accordingly (i.e., it will produce a somewhat "squashed" first layer); 2. First Layer Height >100% does increase extrusion amount accordingly (i.e., will produce a taller, but not squashed...

Yes, this should work but does not have the expected effect -- at least for me.
If you have been able to successfully turn off the ooze shield at a specific layer height, please explain your specific method, or attach a factory file.
Thanks!
