Re: Want solid layers to alternate direction

... the actual version 4.1.2 seams to have a problem with the settings of the infill to be print every (1) layer. I have set (1) every layer by using 2 different angles. But it prints only one line direction for 1 layer and the 2nd angle while printing the next upper layer. I can't say when this iss...

Re: Flashforge Dreamer TPU settings/profile

Printing TPU is very critical ! Strongly recommended a direct extruder, once I have bought an Anet A8 for this, because my big printer with 70 cm bowden has no chance to work with it , ether TPU hard, TPU middle or TPU soft . TPU has a lot of abstruse preferences. Using normal print temperature make...

Re: Non-standard ASCII characters in model filenames will wipe all processes

Yes, thats right, but the next problem is the printer. Printing from SD, all files names containing "Umlaute" are not listed in the display.

Re: From .4mm to .6mm

For print quality it is recommended to set the Layer Height not in a ratio higher than 1 : 2. Will say the maximum LH is 0.30 mm and below when the extrusion width is set to 0.60 mm. Otherwise you must print near a squared extrusion.

Re: DUAL EXTRUSION WIZARD CAUSES S3D TO CRASH.

Never ending story and daily horror?? Same occurrence on Monday. BUT program closed regularly and shutdown the computer . Next day starting the computer (Win 10 - Upgrade from Win 7), ok, all is running except S3D. It didn't start but in the Task-Manager it was listed. Deleting of the SaveState.Fact...

Re: DUAL EXTRUSION WIZARD CAUSES S3D TO CRASH.

Hi, on Monday I had also a similar crash (not clear why), but S3D didn't launch anymore. Restarting the computer, deleting S3D from the task manager (3 and 4 instances of S3D at the same time ) , nothing could help. Than, folowing aa advice from the forum here, I searched for the file "savedstate.fa...

Another option:

Select the model and choose Menue EDIT > Place Surface ...
Touch with the mouse arrow the part of the model you want to put it on the table and click this triangle.

Re: Tip of the Day 17 -New Feature- Horizontal Size Compensation

have a look to Tab Other, there you will find Adjustments Horizontal Size Compensation.
This is the only one possibility but I have doubt if it is the same what you are searching.

Click twice to the object, a window will open for external adjustments ...

Re: Holes in top layer, rough surface

You have set the Retract Distance to only 0,8 mm. I guess that you have a direct extruder (no bowden), I recommend 2,0 mm up to 2,5 mm. With bowden up to 4 - 5 mm. You have not set a Restart Distance, I recommend - 0,15 mm up to -0,20 mm (negative!). And finally you have set the Retracts only when c...
