Re: Different results on the same machine

It seems to be a underextrusion why ever! With same machines you have definitively diffent filaments, even if it comes from the same source, different distances to the print beds, different temperaturs for the heatblocs or for the cooling. Under extrusion also can be caused by a partiell bloced nozz...

Re: S3D Misses The Mark On Weight And Time Esimates By A Lot!

Yes I know. But at the moment I have to gloss some prints and can't weigh them. Also the identical prints are different with perimeters and infill what I havn't stored . But the theory says, that the weight and the length of filament, S3D has calculated, is corresponding with the diameter of the fil...

Re: S3D Misses The Mark On Weight And Time Esimates By A Lot!

I think, the calculation of print time doesn't consider the acceleration and jerk, because the program can not know them. But if it would be known, on my printers I have reduce the values in behalf of print quality. I have test it with 5 objekts, always 1 mm height: square 100 x 100 mm square 50 x 5...

Re: Z axis offset

Tab GCode in the Settings window. But Z-Offset is finetuning, arrange the bed properly first. Actually I'm using - 0,12 mm Z-Offset on the one and + 0,15 mm on the 2nd printer for best sticking on the bed. The positive Z-Offset I need on the A8 because I have mounted a BuildTak sheet there. With nor...

Re: Gaps between perimeter shells?

Hi, the print preview shows it fine for me, slicing the stl-file in my system and also after loading in your fff-profil. I guess the reason is to look for in the unusual settings for PLA (220° print temperature, 140° bed temperature, relative settings for E-steps a.s.o) and the settings for retracti...

Re: Gaps between perimeter shells?

What the Print Preview shows and you can reproduce this issue?

If possible, attache the stl-file here, so anybody can test it on his installation.

Re: Support Separation from part not working as expected. Circular support generation is horrible.

Why do you expect Dense Support where it is not needed and the program doesnt insert it ???
If the problem is the better sticking to bed, use base layers.

At bottom there are 10 base layers (light grey)

Re: Support Separation from part not working as expected. Circular support generation is horrible.

It will be shown in the preview

Support = light grey
Dense Support = dark grey

Perhaps you must scale down the preview with push-pull button in Layer Range to Show. It may be easier to have a look to it when Control Options is checked ON with only 1 layer (not Lines!).

Re: Infill offset

I have not seen this to be the case. If you move a model, the perimeter shifts, but the infill shifts differently. See below. You are wrong. You have only 2 Perimeters and the diagonal lines are part of the infill and not perimeters! Check it : Print preview >>> Coloring >>> Feature Type The perime...
