Re: how common is it to change the extrusion multiplier?

... very common and really necessary!
Each material has its own conditions (e.g. ultimate elongation constant ... ) you can't justify but with the extrusion multiplier.

Re: Need help with settting

If you are a beginner it is recommended to gain experience first with standard settings. Printing with undersized extrusion (relative to the nozzles boring) is always critical because the extruded material contacts the nozzles bottom only on its backside (relative to the heads movement ) . The molde...

Re: Print head crashes at end of print!

It seems to me, there is an issue with "Absolute - Relative" values - or not possible ???.

If CBBELLA would attache the FACTORY-File (Menue File > Save as ...) we could see it.

Re: After installing 4.1.2

You can install both versions at once, you are not needed to deinstall 3.1.1. (and not recommended, e.g. to avoid the strange changings with the First Layer when layer height < 100%, or the strange solution in 4.1 with brim/skirt what S3D has implemented). To launch old versions if there is no icon ...

Re: 4.1 Sequential Broken or Not?

.... I'm simply calling out that extra functionality would be a nice to have. Thanks for your comments! ... You are right , that would be fine. I'm not sure if this was standard in early versions, because I cant remember this constraint. A few month ago I have deleated all 2.x and 3.x - versions an...

Re: 4.1 Sequential Broken or Not?

.....especially where other software products don't make it that difficult to print sequentially. ... that makes sure that you can print sequentially OR NOT! .....Having to create a process for every model replication is absurd. Creating processes allows to mix the systems, e.g. 16 objects, 4 proce...

Re: Bulging, Rounded Corners From Bowden Style Printer

Clearly, its depending from the lengt of the bowden. And also from the inner diameter of this hose and from the filaments diameter and some other parameters like temperature, print speed also as retracting speed, multi, viscosity .... . Therefore general advices are not possible, it needs to collect...

Re: Bulging, Rounded Corners From Bowden Style Printer

A bowden style printer needs a lot of retract , more than a direct extruder does. Direct Extruder situation: when the print stops (for layer changing e.g.), the pressure is interrupted instandly. in most cases a retract is not needed. Bowden extruder, same situation: caused of much play the filament...

Re: Slicing errors

If you attache the FACTORY file, anybody can reproduce your slicing and all settings include your model. What scale do you use? If the grid shows millimeters, than the wall is much smaler as 1 mm. In this case S3D is probably not able to build the wall when the extrusion weight needs more place. Oth...
