That's what my prints look like when I need to replace the nozzle so if you haven't replaced it in a while you may want to try replacing it as well as the Teflon tube inside the extruder. PETg is harder on your nozzle then say ABS or PLA and I find the nozzles wear out faster with PETg.
Ok, I get that this is hard to calculate. From what I am reading here it sounds exactly what I see at well with my PowerSpec Pro - the estimates are always way off and always on the low side. It seems like something is just not being accounted for in the time calculations. Is anyone getting accurate...
I believe the bug is in the Simplify3D code not GPX. If you put the command M133 T1 ; stabilize extruder temperature in the Tool Change G-Code script it works. Simplify3D folks please use the Wait for temperature controller to stabilize setting to automatically put the M133 command in the the G-Code...
That was my point - yes of course we can work around this by going in and editing the gcode but we all bought this software to do things like that for us and we just want it to work.
JoeJ, Ideally we could set the second extruder to start heating up several layers before the second process kicks in and I think that is possible by setting the temp at the correct layer but this should work. There is a setting for waiting for the extruder heater to stabilize but it does not seem to...
First I want to thank you for all of the improvements in 2.2.2 for dual prints. It seems like you got all of the issues ironed out except for 1. When i am printing something using both extruders on a PowerSpec 3D Pro using 2 processes with the right extruder printing the first part of the object and...
