Re: Underestimates print time?

Does S3D take any acceleration into the calculation? Cura, for example, does. It just has hard-coded numbers for it. If you find them in the code, you can tweak them according to your machine. Maybe there could be an advanced setup dialog where you could enter the acceleration of the printer. But ma...

automatic file extension

I think this is a low hanging fruit and prevents a lot of frustration for new S3D users: (I don't know if this only an issue on Linux, or on all platforms.) When I want to export a process, and in the "save as..." dialog, I type "myProcess", it is not saved, but there is also no ...

Re: Feature Request: Eject Media

+1 I'm running S3D on Linux, so I would like to attach another related request to it. It would be nice if you could easily select the SD card from within the "save as..." dialog. At the moment, I have to browse to /media/<username>/<card identifier>. There is no shortcut for it. In Cura, i...

printer settings not persistent?

Hi, Could anyone tell me if it is normal that S3D keeps forgetting my printer settings? I have a Kossel, so I choose "other" when the program starts and manually set up the build area and so on. But I have to do this every time I start the program. I think this should be stored somewhere, ...

Manual support problem

I have just posted a possible issue I found processing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44579 Now, I have another little issue with this file: I don't know (but have an idea) what exactly creates the issue, but, with this model it should be easily reproducable. Try to add manual support to the insid...

multiple processes in combination with a raft

Hi, I think there is a bug that occurres when combining raft and multi processes. Maybe I am just too stupid, though. The problem is as follows: I want to print this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44579 To enable a good bridging, I tried it with two processes. One that goes until below the to...
