Layers not sticking as wall angles

I have a thin walled part where part of the wall slants away with each layer. For the area where it slants the wall becomes effectively lower with each layer because the slight offset makes the layer thinner for that one area. Eventually that section of the wall is enough lower that the next layer d...

Re: Printing small objects - single layer thick

Thanks, that helped. The drawing was created using Rhino, but it's bad geometry is my fault not Rhinos. Probably in part because I created it with surfaces rather then solids. The fixed one printed fine and then I was able to go back into my original drawing to flip and trim the surfaces to make one...

I'm using a .4mm nozzle, so with the automated print width setting it seems like it should print anything that is .48 thick or more. So I drew a small part with .5mm walls. It imports into S3D just fine, but when...

Why are holes are being ignored

I'm really liking Simplify3D! My prints are coming out much better now. I'm trying to print this part but when I slice it the holes in the top are always ignored. I suspect that is because this is just a surface, not a solid. I do have a solid version of this that works ok, but if I could get this v...
