Ok, after more experimenting, it seems the issue is (maybe) correlated with when Simplify detects a "too small" object, and asks to do autoscaling on it. I will do some more experiments, it's entirely possible that I got the numbers wrong it seems now like that (sorry for that), so maybe i...
