Re: Complex infill managment needed for large prints!

I think its absolutely a great idea for certain types of models. I usually just modify my models as necessary to get the desired print.

Zero perimeters

I frequently design my own support structure for certain parts because the S3D support doesn't always do the job for one reason or another. I have a specific FFF file for my support however it does not allow me to print 0 perimeters, it needs at least 1. I would rather not have any perimeters on my ...

Re: V3.0 not stable + worse model repair

Same models, same model generation - SolidWorks generates some of the best models I've ever seen.

Re: V3.0 not stable + worse model repair

I've had 20-30 crashes in v3, but I'd attribute 1/4 of those trying to repeat it and figure out what causes the crashes. It doesn't seem like one single thing causes it, sometimes slicing, sometimes model repair stuff(which I never use but was trying it on a random bug). Mostly slicing complex model...

Re: please help with very thin support, I can't remove it.

I did design my own support in a situation kind of like this that was very easy to remove. I designed it as radial support and it worked 100x better than normal support. Design it as a separate STL file with your clearance built in. It broke away freely. Still on a small groove, I think you'll have ...

Re: Printing PETG

I can't exactly see if they are a blob or inclusion - if its a blob, add some coast, .2-.5mm, if its an inclusion, do a longer wipe(5-10x the nozzle diameter).

Make sure your extrusion width is calibrated carefully as well.

Re: "Print every infill angle on each layer" changes density

Don't use that button to print honeycomb infill, look at how wide it prints with it checked.
The honeycomb works very well as-is. You can even reduce the angles it prints to just one if you want.
