Bed heating command missing ?

When I save the Gcode file to a SD card I do not get bed heating commands. My printer is a Lulzbot TAZ5. The temperature tab setting is fairly obscure to me. At the left I see two entries in the Temperature Controller List: "Primary Extruder" "Heated bed" On entry "Primary E...

I have been using a test print which is a simple rectangle 2mm thick. When printing task is about 90% the task ends suddenly without any warning or error. The USB/Serial connection with the computer is still alive. It happens one of each three times a print the same part. It does not stops always at...

Software GUI hangs while printing (on Windows)

While printing, no matter what part I am printing, the software GUI hangs sometimes. The Simplify3D windows gets blank (Windows reports 'Not responding' application). The printing tasks continues however and I can see on the Task Manager it is working. It looks like some GUI bug. I am using Windows 7.

Re: Failed to print part

If I print the same part using Slic3r it prints perfect, with no missing parts.
So I would not say it is a STL error.

Any way to stop printing without the machine control panel

Is there any way to stop the printing task without displaying the machine control panel ?
I would expect to find a stop/pause button when I press the 'Print' button.

Failed to print part

The Simplify3D slicer fails to generate the right layers for the following part: "flexystruder-V1.1.stl" taken from Devel.Lulzbot.com. Some traces are missing at the sides of the center circled shape. You can see the parts missing in the softwarer preview windows, as well as in the printin...

Re: Head stays at home position forever !!!

The printer has an LCD and I can see the temperature 230 which is precisely the one I set in the profile. So it looks right.

Head stays at home position forever !!!

The extruder heats up, the head moves to the home position. Then, I see on the Machine Control Panel 'Communication' window that the software is sending a lot of XYZ commands in rapid sequence. However, the printer head stays at the home position!!! The printing task ends and the head has not moved ...
