One problem I noticed on this new release is that when starting a print on my MakerGear M2 from SD card and then disconnecting from the printer it stops the print. In the previous versions the printer continues printing after the software has disconnected.

Personally, I would leave the flanges on the parts. If you sand/file off the flanges once the parts are assembled you will have a perfect mate of the two parts with no transition.
