Re: Top layer fill shadows?

I'm using a Printrbot Simple Metal with heated bed. Here is the Factory and stl file for the part. i took a look at your factory file and I think I see what you're talking about. It may be due to the transition from the base to the actual standoffs and the standoffs having thin walls and your proce...

Re: Tip of the Day 22 - BFB 3D Touch, CubeX, RapMan & CubePr

What you want to do is set up two processes, both using the CubePro Dual profile. Then in the first process make sure in the layer, additions, infill, and support (if you're using support) tab have the first extruder selected. Hit select models and choose what model(s) you want to print with the firs...

Re: BUG: Support layers stopping 1 layer multi processes

Here is factory file incase I'm doing something completely wrong If I'm looking at this correctly, the Top/Bottom Nylon processes are for the support material (second extruder) and the process, "Process 1" is for the model, right? I turned off support generation on the Process 1 In the &q...

Re: PLA Profile

I think this has a lot to do with the hot end assembly. If the heater block is closer to the nozzle, i.e. less time in the hot end before it comes out the nozzle, you wuold want to print it a bit cooler so that when it leaves the nozzle and gets laid down it's at a lower temperature and has an easie...

Re: Give me your Infill tips

If your printer can't handle printing with a 200% extrusion width, try slowing down the print, providing more/less tension on the idler of the extruder assembly, etc. It will definitely give you a huge infill strength increase.

Re: Create supports for tall parts without overhangs?

Maybe post up the STL file so we could test out different methods?
