Speed Modifiers - Display Resulting Speed Next to Percent

It would be great if the Speeds settings would auto-generate a display of the resulting mm/s or mm/min (according to what you have set in preferences) next to the corresponding % modifier. That way you could get a real-time feedback of what the actual speed will be for each without having to rely on...

Supports From Model Surface - Adaptive Bottom Contours

Version 4.0 seems like a great release overall but the ONE thing I was really wanting didn't make it in. Can we please get the ability for supports to contour to match the shape of your model on the bottom of each pillar? The way it works now the contact point is only at the very corner where each c...

Alternate method for creating supports (Strut type)

It would be GREAT to have an optional toolset for creating more "Mixmesher" style supports, but with a more intuitive interface. Check out this software for some inspiration.

Re: Exporting build creates 2 export files.

I'm seeing this now as well after the latest update. It's pretty annoying and takes up twice as much drive space unless you remember to delete the .gcode file every time. Not sure why they changed this and assume it's a bug.

Prevent crossing perimeter after printing supports?

Is there any way to prevent the tooldhead from crossing the outline perimeter after laying down supports (like when it moves to next support section or to start the next outline)? I swear this is the root cause of 90% of all my print artifacts and failures. The "Avoid Crossing Outline For Trave...

Slicing taking forever after rotating model with supports

I have a model with lots of supports and it slices just fine until I rotate it on Z at all (to better fit by print bed). After doing this the slicing takes FOREVER and usually just kill S3D after about 30min. If I disable supports it works fine. If I clear my supports and auto-generate them again it...

"Looking foOverhangs" happens even with pre-defined supports

I was wondering why the Looking for Overhangs process still happens when there are already manually define supports? I have a few files where this process takes quite a while but it seems unnecessary if I'm not doing auto support generation slice.

Old Files Don't Default to Rectilinear Infill

I've noticed that old S3D factory files that pre-date the infill pattern choices will default to whatever type was used in the previously opened file. This has really screwed me over more than once since the expectation would be that if there is no flag for infill type in the file that S3D would ins...

The Mother of All Supports Request List

Of all the features in S3D, supports give me the most issues by far. There are a few improvements and new features that I think might help alleviate some of the problems associated with them. 1. When placing new manual supports after auto-generating it would be very helpful if you could display all ...
