Speed control for inner perimeter

I would like a checkbox under speedoverrides to use outline underspeed for inner perimeter. I have been printing some transparent material lately and to get a good result ( clear result ) right speed is important. Surely I can put down default printing speed and set outline underspeed to 100%. But t...

Re: Incorrect hole sizes

Had a similar problem which I proposed a change to overcome. But I don´t think anyone understod me. Anyway, one could add the ability to just offset the inner outlines. Maybe it does not work to code, do not know, but it would open many possibilities. https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&...

Re: Free gcode editor

I tried it on a 4.8MB Gcode file and it was hideously slow to complete loading /displaying the file. And this is on a Win10 3GHz i7 system. I gave up trying to do anything because every time I tried to do anything it went into "Not responding" state. This and many similar older software w...

First layer speed control

Hi, The most important with the first layer is that it sticks to the bed. Therefore it is also important that it´s easy to control the print speed. As I see it, the speed should always be default printing speed whether it is Raft, Infill, Outline, Skirt, Prime pillar or something else. The speed con...

Re: Print out Process Settings

bapro: your suggestion is not useful. Yes, if we save a factory file for each print we can import it. Duh. That's what the feature is for. But to create a document showing specific settings for a given print...that's useful for learning options for settings relative to printed output. I'm an old gu...

Re: convert gcode to x3g

Thank you for your suggestion. kf52t- The GPX has to run from DOS if you have other than predefined machinetype, but it still doesn´t give me the same result. Rebekah-harper- I don´t get the x3g-file from an external g-code. It will only save a new gcode. I do get it from processing a stl-file but I...
