Re: Refresh Models without Reimporting

Have done so now. FIrst link was my own from some time ago that had not gotten much response. Searched for, but did not find, the second thread. Seems like such a good feature to add for a trivial amount of effort.

Re: Reload Part

+1

This seems like such a very simple thing to do and it would be immensely helpful.

Negative Z Scaling for a Laser Cutter

Is there a way to have S3D command a negative Z movement for users that have hacked their printer to add a laser cutter?

Refresh Models without Reimporting

As simple as the topic name implies. Add a feature that would refresh the model files that are currently loaded. This seems like it would be an easy, almost trivial, thing to implement and it would save users time particularly if they iterate designs.

Re: Laser cutter on QU-BD Two-Up printer.

Good dialog here...any chance of getting a profile? Also, did anyone do multiple passes with the build platform going up? Or the extruder going up?

Re: S3D Crashes on Load of STL in Mac

'Def very odd. It was blowing up on loading a model regardless of how. It is now fixed no thanks to S3D support who still have not answered my ticket from the end of last week. Even more odd that the fix was to select the Ultimaker 2x as my printer, then load a profile from the Ultimaker 2, and then...

S3D Crashes on Load of STL in Mac

My copy of S3D crashes when I load an STL, any STL, as soon as I click on it to load. Running on OSX 10.9.5 on an iMac. Crashes and displays the SPLAT screen which is indicating a bad address. I have tried the magic reset and it did not work. I have de installed and re installed and that did not wor...

Re: Simplify "portable"

I guess my memory of 2.2 was rose colored in terms of the steps ... but it still had less steps than the upgraded version. Further it stored the profiles in the clear not hidden (without doing the export after doing the save). I never had to mess with settings that were not in the UI so I can't comm...

Repair Version 3.0 Profile Management

Profile management under version 3.0 has, in my opinion and given my work flow, taken a giant step backwards. I maintain a number of profiles and it is now a multiple step process to have these files saved in a location that is accessible to me for sharing and for backup purposes. I would like to se...

Re: Simplify "portable"

i have said this before but i will once again. the whole problem here is simply what they name the buttons. save = export. Thanks for schooling me in the meaning of the word export. Decades long career in IT and I missed that whole concept! Seriously, we are either using different software or using...
