Re: Where is Anti-scar settings?

Advanced tab...under Ooze Control Behavior....called "Intelligent Anti-Scarring". Sorry, just looked again, its called "Force retraction on top layer" Silly me! Or is it hyper marketing of new features?? EDIT I have to add that it took me around 15 minutes comparing the settings ...

Re: odd slicing behavior

THis has been something in the software for a long time. Its not an error, just simply the way the software "indicates" where coasting is taking place. The proper solution would be an option on the simulation panel to not show the effect of coasting. A workaround is to temporarily untick C...

Re: Ender 3S 1 not in configuration assistant

Re: Ender 3S 1 not in configuration assistant

You can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. From USING the linked page, you will read: When you open Simplify3D for the first time, you’ll be prompted to select your printer from a drop-down list. This will automatically apply the optimal settings for your printer and make it easier to cr...

Re: Smooth Transition between Vase mode and Non vase mode Print

I'd probably not force a retract between layers as well if it is going to just lift and start printing again, retraction might not be needed. Not someone else not sure what "vase mode" is! Vase mode prints a single long spiral extrusion going round and round the perimeter of the model. Th...

Re: Vase Mode toolpaths

You've made the one mistake everyone makes.....you've not understood "vase mode". Vase mode is simply printing all of the external surfaces of the object....ie just print one perimeter, Nothing else! Take a cup ( forget the word "vase" at this point...its confusing!). The outside...

Re: How can i print a small vase, bottom half pla, top half tpu

I've never had a multiple nozzle machine, so I've no experience to pass on.....but the basics are described in this article.

https://www.simplify3d.com/support/arti ... extruders/

One material in one extruder, the other material in the other.....and print with two extruders.

Re: Support not supporting model, printing in the air?

Can you create a Factory file for this part...and attach to a post.

And by factory file, I mean a Factory file as created via the menu...Not a fff file...which is fff... useless!

Re: written detail

Seeing as there's no photo to view..ie no attachment...lets take a wild guess.

Clicj on the "Separate Connected Surfaces" in the Mesh menu.

If the model part goes up...then the issue may be solved.
