Re: Unabe to affect stringing

You're printing far too hot for a start!

Try dropping the temp down to somewhere between 180 and 200 degrees C....and return other settings back to default values.

Re: Solid layer same direction as support

I think we need the Factory file for this slicing. Three single layer simulations is far little information to go on!

Re: Solid layer same direction as support

It took me five minutes to work out that your three screen shots only show a single layer of the model!!!!! Very confusing...and not helpful. Tahking your screen shots top to bottom.... The direction of the support is governed by the value or values in the Support Infill Angle field in settings. The...

Re: Extra movement to edge of bed and back off print causing stringing

Half the gcode is not all that useful! Can you save the factory file and attach that, please.

My money is on an issue with the model.....and the factory file contains both that and the profile.....and the gcode can be generated from the factory file.

Re: Scale issue on import

There is no "solution" to any issue!! STL file do not hold any dimension information. A 1 cm cube saved in a CAD program will have a size of n UNITS x n UNITS x n UNITS in the STL. Where both the value n and whatever UNIT stands for will be based on what the CAD package exports the STL data as. S3D,...

Re: Simplify3D misses model detail that Cura does not

Stab in the dark on the basis that a dark blue print in the simulation indicates single extrusion wall printing....and that such details are usually added using separate shapes..... Try using the "Separate Connected Surfaces" option on the Mesh menu. If you get one or more extra items in the model l...

Re: Sequential Printing no longer works 4.1.1

Now we've got somewhere on this!! Sequential printing DOES work....and it may or may not have been changed by an upgrade. What stops it working is the proximity of one part to one of it's neighbours. Have a part too close and the two parts are printed as if they are one. Sound familiar??? Yes! It's ...
