Re: V5.0.1 Crashes when using Variable Settings Wizard

I have used that wizard many times myself, but I can't say I've ever seen this issue. Is the crash repeatable? Are you able to save the factory file right before you click "Prepare to Print" to start slicing? Repeatable: Yes (Case 3) Save Factory File: Yes More findings: Case 1 If I keep ...

V5.0.1 Crashes when using Variable Settings Wizard

I was doing a speed tower that changes every 5mm in height. The tower covers 40mm/s to 100mm/s, so I made 11 processes to change the speed from 45mm/s to 100mm/s. I selected "Prepare to print" > "Continuous Printing" > "OK" and the software crashes around 50%. Well, whi...

Re: Reduce Print Speed for Short Internal Single Extrusion

I just ran into this 'hollow' feature when printing my benchy. Thanks for posting the settings, it helped me out and fill the gaps.

Re: Print Cut Off After Moving Global Offset/Centering Bed

My current fix. I picked the Ender 5 Plus profile and reset the origin to center of my bed, I can now print without the software bounding me.

Re: Print Cut Off After Moving Global Offset/Centering Bed

Thanks for the link, per their instructions, on V5 there is no Gcode for build volume " ensure these values match the X and Y build volume values on the G-Code tab of your process settings." there's nothing present. I wonder if I just ender in a machine larger than mine and see if it works.

Re: Too big spaces in layers

take with a grain of salt: Looks like to me you are not close enough to the bed: https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html#firstlayer Extrusion Multiplier = 1.00 maybe a tad higher Extrusion Width= Auto First Layer Height = 100% First Layer Width = 150% You might need to back your infill tab...

[Solved] Print Cut Off After Moving Global Offset/Centering Bed

I'm Trying to get back into using Simplify3D since V5 release, I have a modified Ender 3 Max running Jyers Firmware. The first thing I did was print a bed centering STL file which showed my prints were not centered within the print bed. I changed my Global Offsets X and Y settings to center the bed ...
