Re: Version 5 Announcement

SO basically all they have done so far for "version 5" is to update their licensing backend. What a damn disappointment. Let me guess, you guys will be implementing microtransactions for v5. I've been supporting S3D since version 2 or something but for the past year have switched over to PrusaSlicer...

Cornet feet/raft to help with ABS adhesion/warping

Corner feet/raft. Basically print little "feet" which is nothing more than raft around the corners of prints. This would help with 1st layer problems and adhesions with ABS, since sharp corners like to lift first. I know some 3d designers would purposely put these in to alleviate the problem. Having...

Re: Best FFF Under $2500?

The MM3 is also cheaper than the M2. I'm not sure this is true. M2 (kit) is $1475. MM3 is actually more at $1495. Re: Better top surface stitching & bosses on top layers

I seem to be running into this problem more and more now. Especially with PLA. I have to unfortunately fall back to cura or slic3r for parts that require strength. This is extremely disappointing!!!

Re: Best FFF Under $2500?

Well I don't have the M2 so I can't really do a direct comparison. I do have the MendelMax 2, which I like a lot, and by all accounts the MM3 is a big improvement over that. Support as been great with the community through their chat forums. There always seems to be someone knowledgeable on to help ...

Re: More options for stronger infill.

Honestly, a nice API to allow 3rd party plugins would solve this. Allow us to design our own infills (or anything else with plugin allows access to), and they can solve many many problems.
