Re: auto eject SD card

For me that would just be an unnecessary cluttering of the UI. I just make sure I see the message bar tell me that the export has been completed, and then I pop the card out. I wasn't even aware anyone "ejected" SD cards. I routinely eject USB drives, because not doing so has lead to probl...

Transparent Bed

Please give the option to make the bed transparent. It is very helpful to have the bed with gridlines and such. But it seems it must be opaque or turned off. I have multiple beds for a single printer. Beds get changed based on material. So, z-offset in the G-code tab changes based on material also, ...

Re: Internal perimeter feature

S3D already has internal perimeters. If you change the "Outline/perimeter shells" field to anything but a 1, it will be drawing internal perimeters (in the amount of the field value -1). S3D also already has a field that allows you to overlap your infill on top of your perimeters. In the i...

Collision avoidance - toolhead model

It would be great to be able to input a basic model of toolhead geometry to allow S3D to automatically check for collisions that might occur during a print, especially for sequential printing. Parts that are close together sometimes take a small bump from my nozzle.

That also worked for me.

Thanks.

Re: Sequential printing within a process

Another +1 to sequential printing within a single process.

For very stringy materials, this would be a huge help. I have plenty of parts that are a single piece, but have isolated "islands" needing to be printed. Print quality suffers for the lack of this feature.

Re: crash when windows file browser opens

Yep no fix so far for me either. I still had the installer for 3.1.1 so I have both that and 4.0.0 on this computer. 4.0.0 crashes ever time the browser tries to open. 3.1.1 does not crash. So it has to be the latest version's problem. This is a shame. I really want to try out the new features. I us...

Anyone else with this problem? Anyone have luck fixing the issue? So far reinstalling has not worked.

Just saw this. I was trying to "Open factory file" and it crashed every time. Reinstalling did not help. Running Windows 7.

"Open Factory File" crashes software in 4.0.0

The subject explains it all. Every time I try to open, crash. Every time, in the same way, without fail.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, again: Open, crash, open, crash.
