Thanks! I will try this out. I wonder how the raft is printed OK while the nozzle is too high in the air during first layer without raft.

Well, no? The offset is set in the Makerbot Desktop but the setting does not seem to follow when I choose "print from file".

Hello, I am printing using the Makerbot Desktop, but want to feed it .makerbot files from Simplify3D to have more control. My first problem is that the z-offset needs to be set. in Makerbot Desktop I've got the z-offset set to -0,20mm and that seems to work great for printing from there. In Simplify...
