This issue was never really solved by the way. My workaround was to create a new profile. It doesnt explain why S3D was seeing STL files as the XYZ files.

Ok, now I see what you are saying. I just created a new profile and it works perfect. The old profile had the "export format" as gcode already but for some reason it still gave the error. The new profile works like a charm. Thanks for your help.

I'm trying a prime pillar next to see if the lower half of the sphere needs more cooling time. It prints the same with or without support. I tried dropping the bed temperature to minimize radiant heat but nothing changed.

All I'm saying is change the field to gcode (and remove the previously ref'd script in the process if you have one). Of course, you could look in field pull-down to see if your printer is there....... otherwise set it for gcode. Sure, it's a bug... I guess I don't understand what you're saying. Cha...

Just looked at my firmware and there's nothing about Davinci" or "XYZ" or any kind of machine or file ID anywhere.
