Desire FFF Profiles Ease of Use - Sort, Scrollable window, etc.

The FFF profiles are the most essential part of Simplify3D, right? People spend months tuning and creating dozens or hundreds of unique 3D print profiles. As a product developer I know and live this experience. So why do the FFF profiles seem like an afterthought in Simplify3D? Here are my suggestio...

FFF Profiles are corrupt - Simplify3D crashes!

FACTS: 1. My current Simplify3D 4.0.1 has one or more corrupted FFF profiles. When I export an FFF file, the FFF file is zero size and Simplify3D CRASHES! 2. I have about 40 Simplify FFF profiles that were hard-won and tuned in the past few years. 3. I'm using a Windows 7 64bit Pro PC. As a profess...

SOLUTION: v3.0 - Support OK by mod to Max Overhang Angle

If on the other hand... Max Overhang Angle= 65 Then generating Gcode, only ONE HALF of support structures appea...

v3.0 - Support missing half -- v2.2 Support OK.

What's going on with Simplify 3.0 version compared to the 2.2 version? The 3.0 version produces about 1/2 missing support structure -- while the 2.2 version works fine. Simplify 3.0 version, the support structure is asymmetrical and missing on the right side of part. BFB file here: https://drive.go...

Desire Thin Wall Control for Optimum Print

I need better control in printing thin walls. I stopped using Kisslicer because of lack of thin wall creation controls. Simplify3D has improved my thin wall creation ability. But it still is lacking a big issue. When a thin wall is smaller than nozzle diameter and/or extrusion width, Simplify3D doe...

Re: Need Speeds greater than 100 percent

But you're using absolute speeds (e.g., 30 mm/sec). Seems to me the percentage approach (e.g., 110%) should be supported as well, since it's more versatile.

Re: Need Factory Import of Processes

Joe, I'm confused by your answer. Are the correct steps as follows: 1. Open up MyPart1.factory 2. Double click MyProcess1 process for export. Edit process window now appears. 3. Within edit process window, click Export button and save MyProcess1.fff 4. Open up MyPart2.factory 5. Click Add button to ...
