Variable Density Infill horizontally

I want to vary the infill of the part horizontally rather than layer by layer. This would be primarily used for parts that are printed with Flexible materials. For example, I need to print something like this (attachment): The areas in RED I would want to be at something like 100% Infill, where as t...

Re: Complex infill managment needed for large prints!

A variable infill would be nice (Yes, I know you can do with multiple processes, etc...) but something automatic would be nice.

For example: Start at the bottom with 1% infill, then as it gets closer to the top the infill could increase to help support overhangs.

Are you going into the process and using the "Select Models" to unselect the ones you don't want?

Re: Feature Request: Intelligent Auto-Arrange

I agree. The automatic placement seems very odd. It's hard to predict where it will place it on the bed. I also have an issue where I have a small part and I want to duplicate it say 30 times. Well, instead of filling up the entire bed, it places some parts off the table. while there are several inc...

Re: Large Blob when switching Extruders

Ok, this gets a bit strange... I took video of it, and it's the left extruder that is putting out too much. The weird thing is, is that White is loaded in the left extruder and it looks like a blob of BLUE. :?: The video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z48xFEoSu-4&feature=youtu.be ...

Re: Switch Outline Direction?

Is there a way with most printers to change the direction that outline layers are laid down? By default they always go counter-clockwise, but it would be good in some cases to have it go the opposite direction to avoid problem area. Even cooler would be an option to alternate each layer. Maybe this...

Re: Large Blob when switching Extruders

I don't think our issues are 100% the same. I'm going to have to video it and then watch when it happens. Mine seems to be on the second tool change (Layer 2) and it seems to be the color it's changing FROM and not the one it's changing too. I will video tape it and review the video after it's done.

Large Blob when switching Extruders

This is what happens when I am using dual extruders. What is really strange is it only happens on a certain layer (not sure which layer it is) and happens in the same spot every time. Different models get different spots. It happens with all my multi-color prints. It only does it for the color that ...
