Yes from the mSD card. This is strange why it's not working for me. Is there a way to determine the printers firmware version? Maybe there has been a change...

Monoprice Select Mini Slicing Problems

I just got a new MP Select Mini; loaded the profile in S3D 3.1.0, grabbed a model, sliced it up in S3D, loaded it on mSD card, inserted into printer, selected the file under SD card and all it does is sit on the print screen. When attempting to cancel the print, most of the time it locks up the prin...

Re: Removed Supports still being generated and printed

It likely doesn't say it directly in the tutorial because it should be relatively obvious that if you have the option labeled "Generate Support" turned on, the program will....generate support! Fortunately you can both do it the hacky way outlined above, or just copy your process and assign the one...

Re: Removed Supports still being generated and printed

To be clear, there is a different between "I removed some supports" and "I removed all of the supports for my entire model". As it says, if you enable support generation, it's going to make sure that there is SOME support for the model. The only way to stop that is to either add your own supports m...

Re: Removed Supports still being generated and printed

I am referring to this tutorial https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tutorials/adding-and-modifying-support-structures/ . I don't see anywhere in it's instructions that alludes to or indicates that removed support structures will be generated anyway which is in fact what is happening. It seems to say ...

Re: Removed Supports still being generated and printed

Thank you for your response, your suggested work-around works perfectly.

As a developer, I consider a function that doesn't behave the way my usage instructions says it should, a bug.

I'm sorry, I should have added another picture. The second object has support underneath for a recess. So I'm guessing this is a bug?

Removed Supports still being generated and printed

I don't remember ever running into this issue before (V3.1). I go into supports, click on automatically generate supports, then click on Remove Support Structure and remove the support structure that I do not want. Everything looks good, until I hit Prepare to print button and the print preview disp...
