I think you're right JoeJ that it's the filament since my green filament never did this and it's also been raining like cats and dogs where I live so there is probably humidity in the filament. I set the temp to 185C and set retraction to 6mm at 50mm/s. Here is what I get now. http://i.imgur.com/y56...

String, Strings, and Strings
I have been getting lots of strings in my printers and quite can't figure out why.
I have a printrbot simple maker
using pretty much default settings.
Extrusion Multiplier: .90
Retraction: 4mm at 40mm/s
Coasting: .20mm
