I have not tested but if you go to advanced tab and uncheck "only retract when crossing open spaces" and it will do z-lift even over top surface i think.

Oh, i think i got it. Can't test now a print is ongoing already. But sailfish acceleration only works on straight lines and not in curves. And in this print fast movments moves in curves becuse i checked in "avoid crossing outline for travel movments". So yes if i use that feature i need p...

Print speed problems
Hi, I can't figure this out. I print this model very slow, 30mm/s and X/Y movement speed 120mm/s. I use sailfish 7.7 and in the clip i even lowered speed to 50% in sailfish menu but print head still moves to fast at some point and make my printer very unhappy. Save new steps per mm settings?
Does anyone know if it's possible to permanently change the steps in s3d in the firmware > x3g tab? Mine keep constantly resetting when close down simplify3d. And yes i click on save when exit.

Again, I would run a print with "force retraction between layers" enabled and then watch to see if the blobs form at the start or end of each perimeter loop. So same settings as before except i enabled "force retraction between layers" . To me it looks almost the same, mabey a t...

This is also printed with same settings as in factory file above. The two parts is printed at same time. What do you think, looks like underextrusion? If it is what to change, extra restart distance mabey?
