Re: Decouple add/remove multiple support tool from frame rate

Can you post a video showing the behavior you are seeing? The frame rate of your computer shouldn't affect the support removal at all. If your model is really large, it's possible when you zoom very far out the supports are just too small to even see. If that's the case, maybe using a slightly large...

Re: Makerbot Method Support Material

You can frequently just add a local exception instead of turning the entire thing. Just wanted to make sure you knew that might be the culprit for the issue, since we've had other customers report Sophos was causing it.

Re: Walls missing in part on slice

Could also be an issue with relative vs absolute E-values in the gcode. If the starting script accidentally puts things into absolute mode, but the process settings are set to use relative E values, you sometimes get missing segments like that. Checking the flow rate preview coloring mode should mak...

Re: Makerbot Method Support Material

When you say the extrusion multiplier isn't changing, do you mean that you change the value, click OK, but then if you immediately re-open the process the value reverted back? I think we've had at least a few other customers mention an issue like that which they eventually traced back to some obscur...

Re: Simplify3d crashes when connecting Davinci Duo via USB

Which exact Duo model do you have? 2.0A?

Do you know what firmware you have on the printer?

We have quite a few XYZ machines in our office that are working okay, so trying to understand what might be causing this with your unit.

Re: troubleshooting layer bump/shift

There are some really good suggestions on this page if you think it's true layer shifts: https://www.simplify3d.com/resources/print-quality-troubleshooting/layer-shifting/ However, looking at the picture, it's also possible that it's just varying extrusion rates that are causing a slight bulge in th...

Re: Wanting Simpler Layers

Can you attach the factory file? That might make it easier for others to provide suggestions.

Re: 5.1.1 Creator 3 Pro can't control cooling fans

You could try adding the following commands to your post processing script:

{DELETE " P0"}
{DELETE " P1"}

That will remove the extra P-parameters if the firmware isn't handling them properly.

Re: Wanting Simpler Layers

One setting that might help is Edit Process Settings > Infill tab > Solid Infill Extra Expansion. If you set that to a higher number like 0.5mm, it will expand the solid regions underneath your top surfaces and might help fill any small gaps. Another idea could be just changing the External Pattern ...

Re: Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga support

Most of the Elegoo firmwares accept standard Marlin/Klipper style gcode commands, so there's a good chance it's already compatible without any other changes. You could try going to Help > Configuration Assistant, and then choose the option at the bottom to manually enter the printer specs. That will...
