Re: Error when sending to slicer

It looks like you're running version 4.0.1 which is incredibly old. Try downloading a newer version from our website to see if that works.

Re: I seem to have broken my sequential print. fix?

I don't think grouping the processes influences how sequential printing works. Grouping is just a convenient way to change the settings in multiple processes at once. Usually, if you're having trouble getting something to print sequentially versus another part on the platform, that means the parts a...

Re: Top Layer Extra Expansion

In my experience, I can help improve the quality of the joints between the top layers and the perimeters that build off of them (basically the middle layer in the images that were posted.

Re: Devblog updates?

We don't have a devblog, but you're welcome to email our team directly if you prefer using the contact link at the bottom. At the moment, I know most of them are very focused on our next major release as there's been a ton of work on those new features. There will be a lot to share once they're read...

Re: non responding

You could try deleting all of the saved settings and files used by the software by following the instructions here: https://www.simplify3d.com/resources/faq/#quest-6350 Feel free to copy/backup those files first if there are important profiles you need to save. Re: Overhang/shell/chamber Controls

I believe you can already add a temperature controller for a heated chamber in the Temperature tab of your process settings. We have many printers that already utilize that feature with S3D. If you need help setting it up, feel free to email our team directly at the link below and they can assist yo...

Re: Remaining print time on Flashforge Creator 3 is incorrect

The estimate in the machine control panel uses the actual progress of the machine for the estimate. Once the print is say 10% finished, the estimate should be very accurate. ...

Re: Convex Hull option for raft

I know we've actually had users advocate for the current solution instead of a convex hull due to huge material savings. So we probably wouldn't want to change the current behavior, but I guess this could always be offered as an additional option. One potential way to get something close in the curr...

Re: Angled Vertical Lift After Retraction

Interesting suggestion! I agree that sometimes lifting up immediately after the extruder finishes printing can create defects, but in a lot of tests I've done adding a wipe before the lift seemed to fix it. Do you have any photos by chance showing these different results - 1) lift only, 2) wipe + li...
