Re: V 4.1 does not detect files on desktop

Hi, Yes, we're usig Windows 10 64bit and all users can see the configuration file but it isn't visible in the import dialog box. File > Import FFF sorry, totally missed that reply. You have to change to c:\users\public\desktop inside file dialogues. You'll only get merged contents (public + personal...

Hi Niels, > Infill is set to 100% using a width of 200%. Using an Extrusion Width of 0.4mm that's 0.8mm infill. I'm not sure the > average 0.4 nozzle can handle .8mm properly. Was this set on purpose? Not on purpose. I will look more into the significance of that. And also keep your other suggestion...

Re: normal view and print view different

Just tested this as I'm currently interested in how different versions of s3d handle model files: S3D v4.1.2 -> Seperate connected surfaces -> 3 parts One of them (lower inner cylinder) shows problems in viewport already: http://www.aunix.de/tmp/s3d/notch_thing_412.jpg Slicing preview shows notch/cy...

Re: V 4.1 does not detect files on desktop

Hello, I want to set a configuration file for all users and exported a FFF file and dropped it in the Public desktop folder. So, the next user can import the file for his account. But simplify3d does not detect the files on the users\Public\Public Desktop. No problem if if place the FFF directly un...

Re: Umrahmung weg (Frame around print for priming is gone)

Re: Display bounding box to assist model placement

bounding box +1
customizable spacing +1

And pleeease also apply that spacing to duplicated objects :)

(mhhhmmm, that one combined with some kind of "arrange parts/duplicates in a rectangular pattern")

Re: Umrahmung weg (Frame around print for priming is gone)

Hi, ... und wenn Du dabei die Anzahl Layer auf 999 setzt, wird die Höhe automatisch auf die Objekthöhe begrenzt. ... set number of layers to 999 will print it just to the height of the object. sorry, aber ich versteh's einfach nicht und muss deshalb fragen: Warum sollte man das tun? Und was wäre mit...

Re: Can't get ONLY the manual supports?

Printing that part without support/infill will probably vary greatly from printer to printer. One thing you might consider is adding multiple processes. One with very low infill printing the lower third, a second one getting a bit more dense (*) up to below the "part of interest" and a third one doi...

Re: Question about print sequence

Is there a setting that can add some waiting time in after each layer, to not use material for an extra object? Maybe you can do something like that using the layer change script. But moving the extruder away, waiting and coming back will probably introduce some ooze problems... But you can reduce ...

Re: Detail won't be good

I've just taken notice of something that may cause trouble inside your factory file... Infill is set to 100% using a width of 200%. Using an Extrusion Width of 0.4mm that's 0.8mm infill. I'm not sure the average 0.4 nozzle can handle .8mm properly. Was this set on purpose? If I were given the factor...
