Re: Save to SD Card and eject

Looks like this is a necro'd thread, but I'd love for it to automatically eject the SD card after export (as a toggle'd option, of course, and similar to how Lightroom ejects SD cards after import). Sure, it might not save a lot of time, but it'd be a handy automated process.

Purging Nozzle with Movement (Makerbot2X)

Hey all - this is probably going to be a simple answer but admittedly G-Code does my head in. When I switch S3D to print "Left Extruder Only" the startup script is: ; **** Replicator 2X start.gcode **** M73 P0 ; Enable build progress G162 X Y F3000 ; Home XY maximum G161 Z F1200 ; Home Z m...

Re: API for add-ins

This actually might be an awesome way to resolve the huge number of feature requests (and frustration at the, er, infrequent updates) - becoming a bit more open source and putting development in the hands of the community.

Struggling to Print Small Areas

I'm really struggling to print this "grid" which has an area of around 2.6mmx4.2mm for each column. Variables I've ruled out are: - Build plate height - Warping (the plate is warped, but the same pattern emerges no matter where it is on the plate) - Filament type (two different brands of f...

Re: Version 3.1.0

Admittedly I'm a bit sour as none of the updates appear to be features I was hoping for. Really hoping this wasn't the big update we've all been waiting for :(

Re: is teh software still being developed?

Admittedly I've been really hoping to see an update as while I use S3D daily (and prefer it 100% over Makerbot's software) it's still got its bugs and could have so many useful features - a bit of communication from the team would be nice :)

Re: Top Layer has not enough overlap over the Infill.

I have this issue frequently - especially when using low infill densities and it then finishes the edge where there is no infill - meaning the plastic sags inwards, causing awful gaps. I don't have this problem on the Makerware software (but can't stand to use the software lol). In order to get arou...

Re: Printing parts with thin walls

Minimum infill length: 5mm to 2mm Infill extrusion width: 130% to 140% Infill overlap: 15% to 10% Perimeters: 2 to 1 Not sure where you're seeing those changes... At least half of those don't match any of the files that were posted Oops - "infill overlap" was meant to be "outline ove...

Re: Printer Jam - Restarting Print?

I accidentally left the dial caliper at home, so have no way of accurately measuring where it messed up, so will have to acetone two different parts - such a shame when most of it printed successfully
