Filament usage tracking

Hey fantastic Simplify3d developers! It would be amazing if Simplify3d had the capability to track your filament usage. I could imagine it like this: New "Filament management" menu, that allows you to add new rolls of filament, answer questions like colour, material (available as drop down...

Re: Ability to Interact with Print Server APIs

+1 for me too.

I think a lot of people are using Octoprint to manage their printer connection, this would be a great addition IMO.

+1 for me too!

I think this could be a really *killer* piece of functionality that sets Simplify3d well apart from the other tools out there.... I also agree with the previous poster that it would be great to have the ability to influence the speed too.

Pretty please :)

Re: Feature Request: Change Filament at Height

+1 for me too! Would be a great (and hopefully relatively straightforward) piece of functionality to have! Especially cool would be if it retracted, prompted for the new filament and adjusted temperatures/flow/etc and then primed. But hey, a GUI way to schedule a pause would be a great first step :)

Re: Help with gaps

Thanks dude

I turned up the overlap to 30% and it's looking much better, will definitely add an extra layer too.

Finally finished printing all the bits for my enclosure, fingers crossed I will then be able to print abs without warping :)

Cool thanks so much - other than this I am really, really impressed with the results I'm getting with Simplify3d :) :)

Help with gaps

Hi everyone

Sorry for along possibly a basic question, but can anyone help me understand what setting is causing gaps between the outside layers and the surfaces?

Printing PLA at 195 with extrusion multiplier at 100%....
