Random pauses during printing ruining my prints
I've got a Printrbot Metal Plus and it's mostly working with S3D. The problem I'm having is that there are occasionally random pauses during printing. These last 30-60 seconds. I've checked and the CPU is almost idle, there's lots of free memory (this is on a Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz with 8GB RAM). Of co...

I have also found that S3D connects much more reliably to my Wanhao Di3 if I go to Firmware Configuration, Communication tab and deselect 'Wait for startup command'

I have the same problem. It seems the i3 controller is very slow to respond after a reset. I was able to connect and print OK by clicking connect, waiting for the Wanhao logo to come on the LCD and then clicking the connect button again.
